Hi Tigers,
My name is Linnea Miller and I am thrilled to work at Dingeman as the Associate Principal.
I began my teaching career at Dingeman Elementary back in 1998. I gained a strong foundation for instruction and leadership from other mentor teachers at this site. I went on to use many of these skills and learning at future schools and roles. I'm thrilled to be back at Dingeman and working alongside such an amazing staff and principal.
I grew up in Upland, California and moved to San Diego when attending Point Loma Nazarene University. Shortly after graduating I took my first role here at Dingeman. I saw the special connection in the Scripps Ranch community when teaching here long ago that I eventually moved here with my family years later. Our family has a special love and value for the community spirit that not like any other.
On a more personal note, I have a fantastic and talented husband who is a huge support to our family and my role here at Dingeman. I also have two children, who also attend public schools here in Scripps Ranch. See some pics below...we love a good silly face picture! When I'm not at school you will find me running with my friends, volunteering at our local church, or hanging with my family and/or community.
Inside of school, I have a special love for instruction, acceptance and relationships with students, their family and staff. I believe these are foundational in having a successful school experience. I am huge believer in being a life-long learner and aim continue learning in this role.
