Registering Your Child for Dingeman Elementary School
** Current Students in grades TK-5 are automatically registered for next year. Only new students to grades TK-5 need to register.
Our "Intent to Enroll" form is currently closed. If you are the parent/guardian of a new or returning student to San Diego Unified and would like to enroll for the 2025-2026 school year, you may enroll your student using the Online Student Enrollment portal. The Online Student Enrollment portal can only be used to enroll in your assigned neighborhood school. Click the following link to check if the

Who is eligible to attend Dingeman?
1. Students who live in our Dingeman Elementary Attendance Boundaries click this link to see our boundary map (School Finder)
2. Students who have applied and been accepted through the Choice Program.
In order to register your child you will need...
1. Birth Certificate or Passport
2. Immunization record with all vaccines current
3. Proof of Residence (lease agreement, mortgage document, SDGE bill, or water bill)
4. Proof of medical-Health Checkup Requirements and Medical Form
5. Dental Check- Dental Form
Grade Level Placement
TK (Transitional Kindergarten): For students turning 4 by September 1st
Kindergarten: For students turning 5 on or before September 1st
First Grade: For students turning 6 before September 1st
Second Grade: For students turning 7 before September 1st
Third Grade: For students turning 8 before September 1st
Fourth Grade: For students turning 9 before September 1st
Fifth Grade: For students turning 10 before September 1st
WE WILL NEED ALL OF THE DOCUMENTATION MENTIONED ABOVE BEFORE WE CAN PROCESS YOUR STUDENT' S REGISTRATION.
